The following people: Karol Kamas, Magdalena Gaik, Monika Kloczkowska and Michał Czerniak are the winners of the sixth edition of the competition Personality of the Year MICE Poland. The results of the competition were announced during the ceremonial gala which took place on 24 January at the EXPO XXI Warsaw (Warszawskie Centrum EXPO XXI).Karol Kamas, deputy head of the Marketing Communication Department at the BGŻ Bank, won in the category Client of the Year. Magdalena Gaik, chairman of the management board of Walk Events Sp. z o.o., prevailed in the category Organiser of the Year. According to the decision of the Chapter the title Manager of the Object received Monika Kloczkowska, an event planner specialist at Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera. During the Gala, for the first time in the history of the competition, the title Subcontractor of the Year was awarded. The winner in that category was Michał Czerniak, the vice-chairman and managing director of the management board of Brill AV Media.
MPI Poland Club within the competition Personality of the Year MICE Poland has awarded its prizes for three years. This time the title “Discovery of the Year MPI Poland” got Miłosz Stanisławski, general manager of Sound Garden Hotel.
The gala, during which “Personality of the Year” titles were awarded, was conducted by Robert Moskwa, an actor and presenter playing one of the main characters in the TV series “L like love” (M jak miłość) and Aleksandra Szwed, an actress, singer and presenter, well-known to the public mainly from the TV series “Foster family” (Rodzina zastępcza). Two bands: Red Heels and Drugi Tydzień played music in the evening event. Aleksandra Szwed gave a performance with the band The Chad Makers too.
