In March last year we organized the event for one of our clients.The event was held in the Old Depot (Stara Zajezdnia) in Cracow. The goal of the meeting was providing summary information on the last year. Gigantic layer cake shared cooking was the main attraction of the evening.
The participants worked in 10-member groups at 18 cooking stations. Each team had its own assignment which was preparing a specified region of Poland. Creating a gigantic map of Poland with the area of about 50 square metres was the key element of the event. All participants were provided with professional confectionery equipment. All food materials were edible and of the highest quality (it also applies to figurines and special sugar mass, from which 3D elements were made).
Basic ingredients were available at cooking stations, however other confectionery ingredients could be acquired in a special shop. It was possible to win money with the logotype of a client in a general knowledge quiz about Poland. Competitions which were shown on the screen were run by a master of ceremonies. The event was a big logistic challenge and required very good coordination. Nevertheless the final result was a worthwhile sacrifice.
