In June we organised for one of our clients – PZU, a two-day trip to Masuria, to the Hotel Siedlisko Morena. The location of the hotel and the natural features of the region made up ideal scenery features o play team games.
The script prepared by us let the participants have a good time, enjoy the event and build strong, positive relationships in the group. On the second day, right after the breakfast the employees of PZU set off following tracks of outstanding Polish travellers, and started a journey around the world. The game was divided into stages – continents and stations directly connected with them.
Attractions were linked with achievements of a traveller in the particular area of the world. During the game all the participants travelled across six continents as well as got to know about six outstanding Poles. Passing each stage was connected with a possibility of getting a treasure on every continent which moved the travellers closer to the main prize.
Travelling across the continents, the players went by Antonow plane following tracks of Tony Halik, landing on one of the nearby meadows, went kayaking like Piotr Chmielewski, reached dizzying speeds in a car like Jerzy Jeliński who in 1926 set off on a journey around the world using specially designed Ford vehicle model. At the next stage they changed and rode a bicycle following the trip of Kazimierz Nowak across the African continent. Then using ropes they overcame obstacles in Australia like Paweł Strzelecki, climbed the Kościuszko Mountain in order to take advantage of paleontological experience of Wojciech Skarżyński on the Gobi desert.
The program also included:
– lifesaving
– driving Gaz 69 cars and bridge building
After a very exciting first day, our winners went on a fascinating trip into the world of the history of Masuria and its railway; they experienced both during the ride on the Ełk narrow-gauge railroad. It was built in years 1910 – 1917, and in 1992 entered in the register of historic monuments. After this last attraction, full of new impressions they came back home by bus.
