This year the winners of the the seventh edition of the competition “Personality of the Year MICE Poland 2014” became: in the category Principal/ The Ordering Party – Agnieszka Majkowska, director of the Sales Support and Development Department, Prudential Poland; in the category Organiser – Marta Dunin-Michałowska, Mea Group chairman; in the category Manager of the Object – Żaneta Berus, Expo chairman XXI Warsaw; in the category Subcontractor – Adam Zagajewski, Triangoo chairman.
The prizewinners were chosen by the Chapter of the competition out of ten nominated candidates in each category. The nominations were appointed on the basis of readers voting of MICE Poland.
During the ceremony the “Discovery of the Year – MPI Poland” was also announced. Kinga Soćko from Poland Convention Bureau became the winner of the plebiscite.
The Personality of the Year 2014 Gala took place on 30 January in the Transcolor hall near Warsaw. The Garden of Eden was the leitmotif of the event. For the fourth time Power agency was responsible for the event. This year the organisation of the gala was realised by 34 companies, partners of ethe vent: 60 waiters, 6 barmans, 18 hostesses, hosts and show/ theatre dancers. 115-metre long stage was built within 48 hours.
The festive evening was hosted by Conrado Moreno and the event was accompanied by performances of the acrobatic dance group ATELIE and two cover bands “The Customs” and “Flower Power”.
The entire undertaking is down to 6 projectors, 85-metre long screen, 18 square metres of diodes, 100 led slats, 70 heads, 25 kilowatts of incandescent light, 200 kilowatts of electricity, 150 linear metres of the truss, kilometres of cables in transport filling almost 100 cubic metres.
These were also 1500 apples provided with the logotype of the gala.
